The zoo itself was actually decent, which was a pleasant surprise after the little parking adventure we had getting in. We showed up late morning and ended up circling around for a while before finally finding a spot. It wasn’t a total disaster, but when you’ve got kids in the car, that extra stress definitely isn’t ideal. I’d go back, just probably earlier next time so the parking doesn’t set the tone for the whole visit.

I had such a good day out at Perth Zoo with my wheelchair. i was bracing myself for the usual obstacle-course nightmare, but it was actually really easy to get around. Most of the paths were smooth, there were ramps right when we needed them, and the accessible toilets were close enough that it didn’t turn into a whole dramatic mission. The staff were lovely and helpful too. It made the whole visit so much calmer and way less stressful than I expected

The zoo was mostly clean, and I appreciated that the bins weren’t overflowing. That said, some of the toilets felt old and overused, and a few seating areas really need more shade. It was an okay visit overall, but I do think management should take more responsibility for keeping the facilities comfortable and up to date, especially when families are spending a full day there.

Trying to book tickets was way more annoying than it should’ve been. The site kept freezing right when I got to payment, so I had to go back and enter all my details twice. I did finally get the tickets, but the whole thing was frustrating. I also emailed support and the replies felt like they came from a robot, not an actual person who understood the issue

The drinks were cold and the coffee was actually decent, but the hot food was bland. For the prices, I expected a lot more. I also wasn’t a fan of getting one of those canned “sorry you feel that way” type apologies when I mentioned it, it just made the whole experience feel even less worth it.

We took the kids to Perth Zoo on the weekend and, you know, totally casually, it was actually a really great day. The kids were obsessed with the elephants and giraffes, while I very calmly pretended I wasn’t just as excited. There was plenty of shade around, which made a big difference, and getting around with the pram was easy enough. The toilets were clean, there were lots of little spots to stop for snacks, and the staff we spoke to were friendly. My only very calm advice is to bring your own water and wear comfy shoes, because we ended up staying way longer than planned. 5 stars from us...

I just took the bus from the city and it was so easy!!! Didn’t have to deal with parking at all, which was such a relief!!!

The zoo map was really easy to follow. Nice. We found all the animals we wanted to see without wandering around confused, and I didn’t get lost once. Perfect.

We took the kids to Perth Zoo i was impressed with the food choices. I wasn’t expecting much beyond the usual basic zoo snacks, but there was actually a decent bit of variety.

We grabbed coffee and drinks, and there were plenty of easy options like snacks, sandwiches, hot chips, and some proper lunch bits too. The kids found stuff they wanted without any drama, which is always a win.

Prices were about what you’d expect for a place like this, so not exactly cheap, but not outrageous either. It was nice having a few different spots to choose from instead of just one kiosk. 5 stars from us...

We had a great day at Perth Zoo. The staff were super helpful when we got kinda lost, and one of the keepers took the time to answer all my kids’ questions about the animals. You could tell they really knew their stuff, but they explained everything in a really easy way. It made the whole visit feel relaxed and fun. I’d happily go back again.

We went earlier in the day, after grabbing breakfast nearby, and it really wasn’t too busy at all. It was easy to walk around with the kids without feeling like we were constantly in someone’s way, which made the whole visit a lot more relaxed.

We stopped by the gift shop after the zoo and they had so much cute stuff, wait, the plushies were adorable. I ended up grabbing one, plus a few postcards to take home.

I went to Perth Zoo on a busy morning and thought getting in was going to be a bit of a nightmare, but it was way easier than I expected. The line looked big at first, so I was thinking, here we go, right? But it actually moved really quickly. I went to a special event at Perth Zoo with my family it turned out to be such a nice night. I’m usually a bit cautious with busy events, especially when I’ve got the kids with me, but getting in was simple and everything felt calm from the start.

The staff were friendly, the setup was easy to follow, and it felt organised without anyone being overly strict or pushy. The food lines moved well enough, and there was enough space around that I didn’t feel like we were constantly watching our backs or squeezing through crowds.

Having the animal areas open made the whole thing feel more special, and the kids absolutely loved it. We never felt rushed, which made it much easier to relax and enjoy ourselves. I’d happily book another event here.

Went to Perth Zoo with my family we had a really good day. I’d heard before that it’s one of the better zoos, so maybe I was already expecting it to be decent, but it definitely backed that up for me. The exhibits felt spacious and easy to wander through, not like the animals were just shoved in there for people to stare at. The orangutan and elephant areas were probably my favourites, plenty of shade and room for them to move around. The staff seemed relaxed and like they actually cared, which made a good impression too. Everything was clean, easy to navigate, and the animals looked healthy from what I could see. I left thinking, yep, this is why people speak highly of the place. Would happily go again...

I checked the keeper talk times before we went, it made the whole day feel so much less chaotic. We managed to see the penguins and elephants without doing that frantic sprint across the zoo like our lives depended on it. The schedule was easy to read on my phone too, which felt like a tiny miracle. Really good visit overall.
